Circa 1895 Slazenger one piece driver with original leather face insert. A very early "patent" club, this one piece club was produced from a single piece of wood - eliminating the need for a hosel or similar way of connecting a head and the shaft. Slazenger only made clubs for a brief period of time in the late 1800s - before leaving the golf club market for many years.
This rare club is in poor to average condition. Still has the original face insert, though a small piece is missing. 42 3/8".
