The Kocsis family are golfing royalty, especially in the Midwest. Quite remarkably, three Kocsis brothers all played elite level golf, including in Major Championships. All three are also in the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame.

Offered here is then-18 year old Emerick Kocsis' 1928 gold medal for winning the Michigan PGA Championship. Kocsis defeated Al Watrous in the semifinals. This was Emerick Kocsis' 1st of 2 Michigan PGA Championship victories. This 1 3/8" medal is marked 14k gold and weighs 18.6 grams.

This piece comes from the Estate of Chuck Kocsis
