Lot Description  

Ornate circa 1909 cigarette case from a tournament at Englewood Golf Club in New Jersey. This October 1909 trophy cigarette case was awarded just a few months after Englewood Golf Club hosted the 1909 US Open. This was presented to Charles Presbrey, a prominent amateur golfer of the period. This sterling silver case is stamped on the interior with a patent date of June 1908. 3 1/2" x 2 1/2".
