This is a rare original 1919 photograph of a 17 year old Bobby Jones. Almost all photographs of a young Bobby Jones are later photos - reprinted and released after Bobby Jones became a household name. This is not the case with this photo, as it is actually stamped 1919 on the reverse. An incredible find. This is an actual press photograph that we know from the stamping is from Bobby Jones' coming out party at the 1919 US Amateur. In just his 2nd ever US Amateur appearance, the 17 year old Jones finished runner-up at the 1919 US Amateur. 

This rare 5" x 7" photograph is authenticated and slabbed by PSA as Type III, which means it is a genuine 1st generation press photograph from 1919.
