Offered here is a rare original letter from Harry Vardon on Vardon's personal letterhead. The great thing about this letter is that it comes from the prime of Vardon's career. In fact, his now-iconic letterhead only includes 4 Open Championship medals - because Vardon had yet to win his 5th and 6th Open Championships in 1911 and 1914.  We believe the letter is dated 1904 or 1909 as the last number is under the mat board.

Early Vardon letters almost always have faded colors, but the offered letter is exceptional. And it contains a high grade Harry Vardon signature. Professionally framed with a stereoview card of Vardon demonstrating the now-legendary Vardon Grip.  Framed to an overall size of 24 1/2" x 17 1/2".
