Lot Description  

Circa 1898 Varsity gutta percha golf ball produced by Anderson, Anderson & Anderson, Ltd. As mentioned by golf ball expert Colin Palmer in his book The Essential Guide to Collecting Golf Balls, the Varsity ball had a quite unusual pattern, and is rarely seen in fine to unused condition.

This ball is in excellent condition.
