According to the famous book "Decorative Golf Collectibles" by Shirley & Jerry Sprung, “Walter Scott Lenox founded the Ceramic Art Company in Trenton, NJ in 1889, but Lenox assumed complete control around 1895. In 1906, the name was changed to Lenox China Company.” The early pieces marked “CAC” for Ceramic Art Company are coveted by collectors.

Offered here is a scarce circa 1889-1895 Porcelain 3 handled tyg. The tyg contains hand painted images of 1886 & 1887 British Amateur Champion Horace Hutchinson. This stunning tyg stands 5 1/4" tall and 7" handle to handle.
