Scarce 1886 First Edition of Hints On Golf by Horace Hutchinson. This was one of the best selling golf books of the 19th century, though very few 1st editions are known. In the past, we've sold 7th, 8th, and even 9th editions, but we've never before offered the coveted 1st edition. Very good condition with a little cover wear. An 1886 1st edition is listed in Gilchrist's Guide to Golf Collectibles for $2,995, though the current value seems to be much higher.
