Gene Sarazen is one of the most iconic figures ever to grace the fairways at Augusta National. His legendary double eagle at the 1935 Masters Tournament is credited with helping put the tournament on the map. Offered here is a truly rare chance to own Gene Sarazen's actual circa 1960s Masters Tournament-used woods that come with a letter of provenance from Gene Sarazen himself.

This high quality Wilson "Gene Sarazen" signature woods (1, 3, 4, and 5 wood) are in excellent condition and date to the early 1960s. In his handwritten 1993 letter of provenance, Gene Sarazen refers to the clubs are being "at least 30 years old" and "played with at the Masters." As collectors are well aware, it is extremely difficult to locate and authenticate used golf clubs from the past, as golfers did not keep track of their clubs in the way that they would now. For that reason, we cannot overstate the importance of a letter of provenance on Masters Tournament used clubs coming from Gene Sarazen himself.
