Offered here is the rare opportunity to own an actual signed tournament-used pin flag from a Phil Mickelson PGA Tour victory, and also a flag from one of the most famous golf holes in the world.
This is an actual pin flag that was flown on the famous 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass during the 2007 Players Championship, which was won by Phil Mickelson for his 31st PGA Tour victory. Autographed by Phil Mickelson. This was sold at a charity auction held at TPC Sawgrass in February of 2008. Included is correspondence with TPC Sawgrass head professional Matt Borocz, who stated that this was the only 17th hole flag produced that year (they had no backups with the hole number stitched on); therefore this is the actual flag flown on the course. Phil Mickelson gave the flag from the 18th green to his swing coach Butch Harmon, as can be seen in the photos.
The flag is framed to an overall 26 1/8" x 20 1/8".
