In terms of Augusta National history, it doesn't get much better than this.

Even above the Masters Tournament, most Augusta National members cherish their annual Jamboree above all else. In fact, legend has it that the Jamboree – Augusta’s annual member-member tournament and related festivities – is often better attended by its members than the Masters Tournament.

Offered here is an original winner’s trophy from the Augusta National Golf Club Jamboree. This impressive trophy was awarded to longtime Augusta National member Fred Brand, Jr. for his victory at the 1982 Augusta National Jamboree.

This impressive sterling silver humidor trophy is large. It measures an impressive 10 ½” x 6 1/2” x 2 1/2” and weighs 4.8 pounds. The trophy contains a high quality engraving of the ANGC clubhouse and logo, as well as engraved signatures of Augusta National members including Jack Welch, Jack Stephens, Hootie Johnson, and many more.

Astute collectors likely already know that, quite significantly, this trophy is the same as the original Masters Tournament Champion’s Trophy that was awarded for many years. Long before the current clubhouse Masters Tournament trophy (first awarded to Bernhard Langer in 1993), and even prior to the bas-relief Masters trophy, winners of the Masters Tournament in the 1940s and 70s received a sterling silver humidor almost identical to the offered trophy.

These large sterling silver humidor trophies have long been legendary in golf collecting circles; but the closest collectors could get to them was by seeing them in early photos of Augusta National, as they have rarely become available publicly.
