Original Royal Doulton golf pieces are among the most-collected golf antiques of all-time. This 10 1/2" plate includes the proverb: ALL FOOLS ARE NOT KNAVES, BUT ALL KNAVES ARE FOOLS. This proverb and the Style of Golfer were taken from Charles Crombie who first used this design in 1905 for his Rules of Golf Perrier book. Some condition issues including a crack and some crazing.
