First of all, the cabinet card photograph itself is in high grade condition, and is double matted by the studio of the original photographer of this image, J. Fairweather of St Andrews. Even if this cabinet card was unsigned, it would still sell for thousands of dollars.

This cabinet card contains a large, impressive autograph of Old Tom Morris. The reverse of this photograph contains a notation indicating that it was a gift to someone in 1905 - while Old Tom Morris was still alive. This is a truly historic and significant piece. 

Framed to 11 1/2" x 14 1/2", the image itself is 4 1/4" x 6", and the entire Fairweather cabinet card (that is visible) is 6 7/8" x 9 7/8".
