Offered here is a circa 1994 Scotty Cameron Coronado prototype putter. Stunning high grade original condition.

In late 1992, the 29 year old Scotty Cameron and his wife Kathy set up Cameron Golf International and began producing the Scotty Cameron Classic line of putters. Cameron also produced handmade custom putters for clients of his budding putter operation. This operation would not last long, as Bernhard Langer won the 1993 Masters with one of Scotty Cameron's putters. Soon a bidding war erupted for the young putter maker's services. Scotty Cameron inked a deal with Titleist in August 1994, and the rest is history...

This putter was made by Scotty Cameron sometime around 1994. According to the Scotty Cameron certificate accompanying this putter, this was a very early putter made for the PGA Tour. Scotty's creation of the now-iconic Circle T would come later, but this is a rare early "Tour" putter that has now become ubiquitous with the name Scotty Cameron. This Coronado Prototype was a Scottsman 941 head that is hand stamped "Titleist." One of the earliest Scotty Cameron Titleist putters.
